Placing joint hypermobility (JHM) in context: traits, disorders and syndromes - link

A literature review looking at joint hypermobility within Hypermobile Spectrum Disorders and Ehlers-Danlos Syndromes and the relevant papers/arguments for diagnosis, epidemiology, diagnosis and patterns where JHM are present with distinct emphasis on the 2017 hEDS diagnosyoc criteria.


Looking at the discussion and arguments over this JHM spectrum.

Pneumothorax as an early indication for a genetic disorder - link (in Dutch)

Recommendation from case reports that due to easier/quicker DNA testing that those with spontaneous pneumothorax should potentially consider testing for connective tissues disorders such as Ehlers-Danlos based on medical and family history.
